Born in the Neighborhood,
Built for Everyone
Warm Brown started the way most good things do — out of frustration. It was 2019, and founder DeShawn Calloway was tired of watching families walk past ice cream shops because a two-scoop cone cost the same as a fast-food combo. Ice cream had gotten expensive, flashy, and frankly a little snobby.
So he took the $600 he'd saved, rented a used cart, and parked it at the corner of Emory and 5th on a hot Thursday afternoon. He sold out in three hours. By the next summer, he had a storefront.
We still make every batch the same way — small, by hand, with real ingredients. No shortcuts, no investors, no compromises. Just ice cream that tastes like it came from someone who actually cares.
"I wanted a place where a kid could point at any flavor in the case and it wouldn't stress their mom out to say yes."
— DeShawn Calloway, Founder
